Event – DICE Annual Lecture 2016

Professor Rosie Woodroffe

Thanks to everyone who came to the DICE Annual Lecture last week and special thanks to Professor Rosie Woodroffe, who gave a wise and brilliant talk entitled ‘Badgering: The Science, Policy and Politics of Managing Cattle TB’ on badger conservation and politics in the UK and how scientists should best engage with policy makers. The evening was a real success so well done to Dr Jim Groombridge, Firuza Greenwood, Katie Watson and their team for organising this great event.

Congratulations to DICE prize winners Cassy Flint, Kashmir Flint, Sam Leslie and Hazel Jackson for outstanding student achievement, and to Dr Rob Fish for winning the Ellya Mustafa Award for the DICE staff member who best contributed to the student experience and DICE ethos.
