Last week the School hosted its second International Cuisine Evening. Fabulously organised by the School’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Rep, Shelley Malekia, this great event drew together staff and students from across the School.
The Swingland room was decorated with flags from across the world and around the room were serving platters brimming with foods from around the globe from Japanese sushi, to Italian pasta salad, from Chinese tofu delight, to Welsh cakes.
The event culminated in the party throwing themselves into some Scottish dancing led by Professor Douglas MacMillan – and demonstrated, with hilarious effect, by Professor Richard Griffiths and Dr Ian Bride (if you have any videos of this treat then please do send them in!).
If you want a treat of an evening, don’t miss this event next year. There are some photos for you to enjoy on our Facebook page.
