Event – Palaeoanthropology Discussion Group

event-palaeoanth-headerRevolving around recent papers in palaeoanthropology, speakers and social events. This student led event is held once a month on Wednesday afternoons. All students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and staff are welcome. We are hoping it will be a base for final year undergraduates and postgraduates to have the chance to present their work, to receive feedback, gain confidence and prepare them for future presentations.

25th November  12-13:30  Swingland Room

Postgraduate talks: Current students will present on their current and previous research activities
Recent paper discussion: Topics including: palaeoanth, primates, and skeletal morphology.

9th December  10:00-12:00  Stirling Library

Opportunity for undergraduates to practice their dissertation presentation and get some feedback – or just talk about their projects. This session will include an overview of key statistics by current PhD students and a discussion on presentation skills.
