Huge congratulations go to Dr Mike Poltorak for winning the Faculty of Social Sciences Teaching Prize, awarded as part of the University Teaching Prizes 2015.
The prize was awarded to Mike for his innovative work teaching visual anthropology. The panel praised his commitment to student engagement, and his success in enabling students to develop valuable collaborative working and critical thinking skills. The panel also commended Mike’s nomination for the National Teaching Fellowship.
Mike will join the other prize winners at the award ceremony on 7th October hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Dame Julia Goodfellow.
