The end of an academic year always comes with a mix of emotions for SAC staff. Pride at how far our students have come and their amazing successes; sadness at losing a wonderful cohort of students who have become an integral part of the SAC community; relief at the end of marking, exam boards and finally being able to see the opportunity for a rest; the anticipation of seeing what our students will become – whether the potential we see in them will blossom and we’ll see them become all that they can be.

So … we want to take this opportunity to wish all of our students a fabulous summer.  We so appreciate your hard work, contribution, dedication and commitment to your studies and to the School.  For those returning next year, we look forward to seeing you during Welcome Week (commencing 21st September 2015).

For those of you leaving us, we wish you all the very best of happiness and success in your future endeavours.  We really hope that you will keep in touch and let us know what you are up to (  You will be receiving an email shortly with some important pointers about keeping in touch and other opportunities, but here’s a little taster for you:

1: Consider doing a Master’s! We have wonderful opportunities for you, especially if you’re considering a future in academia, management, or working in Europe.

2: Join the Kent Alumni Network – you don’t want to miss out on the events and opportunities which help you to keep connected to each other, your School and the University.

3: Come along to the SAC Graduation Party. Check your emails for your invite. 17th July 2015, your ceremony is at 10.30 am so please come up to campus and join us for drinks from 3-5pm in Create, Marlowe Foyer.
